Abstract

One of the major tasks of secondary school teachers lay on academic records of student which includes computation of grades and generation of reports. This study aimed to develop K-12 Computerized Grading System for Public Secondary Schools. Specifically, it aimed to determine the status of the existing grading system. Also, it sought to determine the level of the validity and usability of the developed computerized grading system. Descriptive and method of research was used. Questionnaires and interview were used in gathering data for the development of the software.

The researchers found out that that PEQNHS uses the traditional way in managing students’ record which present serious problems to the teachers such as slow processing and unsecured records. The develop K-12 Computerized Grading System for Public Secondary Schools is considered very much valid and very much usable.
