One of the assets of the college is its qualified and competent program administrators that spearhead the operations of the college. From the University president down to the program administrators works in conformance with the vision of the university.
In line with guidelines set forth by the existing CMO No. 53 s2006, the College’s administrators were able to adhere to the general and specific qualifications in offering the Computer Science Program. This is reflected through the completion of the college dean, Dr. Floribeth P. Cuison, of her Doctor in Information Technology last 2012 and the two program chairs namely, Dr. Isidro L. Duran and Prof. Enrico G. Dacanay with their Masters in Information Technology. Dr. Cuison was also one of the graduates of Master in Computer Science in Region I which adheres to the vertical articulation policy of the new CMO soon to be released.
In this regard, as reflected in the 5-year faculty development program, the administrators and faculty members plan to take up Ph. D. in Computer Science to meet the requirements relevant for the pursuance of the Outcomes-based Learning and standardization established in the upcoming ASEAN Integration.
The plans conceived in the College play an important role in the development of the University Strategic Plan, a vital document for defining its direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue excellence in service. The process starts with the conception of the faculty members’ individual plans which is necessary for the preparation of the College’s Operational Plan. A Procurement Plan is also developed to identify the resources to buy, when and from what sources. These will then serve as inputs to the Campus and University’s Strategic Plans. These procedures guarantee that the plans of the university is anchored in the needs of its discrete components.
