The Extension Services of the College was able to alleviate the computer operations proficiency of professionals in Agoo. From 2% literacy rate, the figures jumped after the series of extension services rendered. The institution was also able to provide livelihood lectures to the Barangay Folks of Agoo for the past 10 years. There is also a regular conduct of the Share-A-Ware program to elementary students, to hone public school children with necessary computing skills.


One of the greatest achievements of the Extension program of the college is its contribution to the Municipality of Agoo in winning the much-coveted 2009 UNESCO Confucius Prize for Literacy Award. The college also received a certificate of recognition as a recipient of a Municipal Resolution of Recognition for its invaluable support to the Computer Literacy Training Program (CLTP) for Educators in the Public Elementary and Secondary Schools and to the Municipal Employees of Agoo on May 3, 2012.

In addition, the college extension facilitator bagged SLUC Campus Extension Worker of the Year during the University Foundation Day-Campus Celebration last January 2014 for exemplary performance in making extension projects sustainable.

In detail, the College of Computer Science is associated with fifteen (40) Industry-Academe Linkages, thirty-one (31) Academic Linkages and thirteen (13) Government and Professional Linkages. The institution also holds five (5) Positions in National Organization/Journal, four (4) National/International Conference Steering/ Program/ Organizing Committee and twenty-four 24 are members/officers in ITE Organizations.

In the last 8 years, the CCS was able to host twenty-eight (28) IT Outreach Programs and five (5) National/International Conference/Event on ITE Related Programs.
